Eabeth’s story is one that shows God’s great redemptive power. He dealt with a lot of trials in his life, but when he began hearing about the Lord, he began to be set free. The Lord met him in the midst of his sorrows and showed him His faithful love and provision.
Eabeth ran away from his home when he was only 14 years old. When he was 8 years old, his mother died and his father eventually remarried. After this, he ended up living with his grandmother because of some issues in his home. Things with his grandmother did not go well, so he had to leave. After he left, he had nowhere to go. There was nowhere for him to sleep and nothing for him to eat. Eventually, he began working at a tea shop, delivering tea and coffee. The owner of the store allowed him to live there, at the store. There was a church right across from where he lived. Seeing the people worshiping as well as their devotion to God made him want to learn more about Christianity.
One day, he became extremely sick. His fever began to take over him and there was no one to care for him. In the midst of his despair, he said, “If I died now it would be good, why I should live and what’s the purpose of living?” At this time, he remembered the people he had seen in the church. He remembered seeing them on their knees crying out to the Lord. In his desperation, he began to cry out to God. Later that same day, someone came out of nowhere to bring him food. From this moment, he became eager to know the Lord.
A few years later, he called the Unite Life platform asking for prayer. The team member was able to tell him more about the gospel and lead him to the Lord. We praise God for this powerful testimony and His faithfulness in our lives!
